Egyptian footballer Emad Moteb of Ahly Sporting Club stressed his ability to resume his career as a football player on the contrary of the vision adopted by the coaching staff led by Hossam Al Badry. He added, “If I did not feel that the current position will change, I would take serious measures to leave the team.”
He added that he is keen to exert increasing efforts during the matches and training, while his participation with the team is almost non-existent, saying that it is impossible for him to tolerate such position.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he preferred not to talk to media during the recent years, while he cannot to keep silent forever, saying that he has the right to defend his opportunity to participate with the team in the coming matches like his colleagues.
Despite differences with Coach Hossam Al Badry, Moteb said, “I have wonderful relations with the coach since I was player in the youth sector.” He added that he still has the opportunity to leave the team, while he prefers to transfer to another team outside Egypt.
He added, “It is difficult to join any other team inside Egypt after the years he spent in Ahly.” He stressed that he accepted to renew his contract with the Egyptian team despite the problems he faces, as he cannot refuse any appeal from Ahly.
He denied what was published over the administration’s promise to him to allow him participates in the coming match in return for the renewal of his contract. He added that his love to the team harmed his interests, as he kept silent during the recent four years in which he did not participate in the matches with his team.
