Israeli police on Sunday detained three Palestinians minors in the town of al-Issawiya, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent said the police detained Majd Dari, 15, Fadi Issawi, 14, and Shadi Odeh, 17, after raiding their family homes. The three were led to a nearby interrogation center.
Earlier last night, Israeli forces broke into the town of ar-Ram, to the north of Jerusalem, and fired teargas canisters and stun grenades at locals’ homes, as well as smashed the windshields of multiple vehicles that were parked along the streets in the town.
The Israeli military claimed that the crackdown on the town came in response to an arson attack on a nearby military base, believed to be carried out by youths from the area.
