Israeli gunboats opened fired on Monday at Palestinian fishing boats off al Wahah shore, northwest of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Local Palestinian sources said that the Israeli gunboats opened random fire at the Palestinian fishermen, with no casualties reported.
Under the Oslo accord signed in 1993, fishing is allowed 20 miles off the enclave.
According to official figures, there are 3,500 fishermen in the Gaza Strip.
