Israeli authorities banned a Palestinian mother from Bethlehem from visiting her son, who is being treated at an Israeli hospital.
Ibrahim Maghrabi, holding the Israeli citizenship, was taken to hospital after he jumped from the window of the second floor of a police station in Tel Aviv.
Maghrabi sustained critical injuries in the head and lung and underwent an urgent surgery.
The mother was refused a permit to visit her son.
Maghrabi was arrested after he quarreled with an Eritrean national.
His condition remains critical.
