Western media's hype on Iran's Parchin military complex aims to disturb the atmosphere of Iran-powers recent nuclear deal, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said here on Saturday.
"All the claims against Iran regarding this issue (of Parchin) is void, and we have announced that road construction work has been done (recently) at the site," Zarif was quoted as saying by official IRNA news agency.
"They have spread such lies in the past, and they have no aim but to disturb the atmosphere of the deal," Zarif said reacting to a recent U.S. report that Iran might be cleaning up its Parchin military site ahead of a visit by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Institute for Science and International Security, a U.S. think tank, said Wednesday that satellite images show vehicles and containers are being moved at Parchin.
The Parchin site, in the southern suburb of Tehran, has been the main concern of the IAEA since November 2011.
Iran previously refused to grant access to the site to allow UN inspectors to look into possible military dimension of Iran's nuclear activities in the past.
On the sidelines of the historic deal between Iran and the world major powers in Vienna last month, IAEA stroke an accord with Iran, with which the UN nuclear inspectors are granted access to visit the site.
