The Palestinian Movement Fatah on Thursday held the Israeli occupation government fully responsible for the dangerous consequences that will take place due to maintaining Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and their sanctuaries.
In a released statement, Fatah added that these practices by the Israeli side could portend a religious war in the region.
The movement explained that the Israeli occupation still continues violating "Our sacred places and our heritage" in defiance of international legitimacy and humanitarian law.
The movement underlined on this score the continued storming of Al Aqsa Mosque by Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli police.
It also made reference to calls by the so-called Temple organizations for all Jewish organizations and political parties to stage rallies in Al Quds city and raise the Israeli flags inside Al Aqsa Mosque in commemoration of the so-called Israel independence declaration.
These practices go side by side with digging operations under Al Ibrahimi Mosque in the West Bank city of Hebron and raising the Israeli flags on its walls, added the movement.
These practices, according to the statement, are meant to obliterate the Arab and Islamic nature and history of the city.
