Israeli navy forces on Sunday, arrested eight Palestinian fishermen off the Sudaniyya Sea area to the northwest of Gaza City.
The Palestinian news agency quoted a fisherman as saying that the Israeli navy opened fire at a number of Palestinian boats off the Sudaniyya coast and arrested eight fishermen.
The Israeli navy also seized four fishing boats and transferred the fishermen to the Ashdod port near Gaza.
The Occupation navy continues to deliberately target Palestinian fishermen's boats on daily basis and prevents them from fishing.
On the other hand, a Palestinian woman was injured on Saturday evening by unknown assailants at her home in al-Yamoun, west of Jenin, and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Security forces launched an investigation into the incident.
