Head Mohab Mamish
Ismailia - Arab Today

Head of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Mohab Mamish has said that the success of the New Suez Canal project is attributed to the desire of a "wise and capable-of-making-decision" political leadership in Egypt.

In statements on Friday, Mamish said that the wisdom and ability to make decisions in a timely manner help achieve aspirations of the Egyptian people in the coming period.

He noted that dredging work at the Canal project is the largest in history, pointing out that average dredging at the project exceeded 41 million cubic meters per month.

He noted that the highest dredging rate recorded in the world has not exceeded 32 million cubic meters per month.
