Yemeni economic expert Sadek Madkoor said the Yemeni economy suffers alot, the matter which is recognized by both Houthi authority in Sana'a and Yemen's government in Aden as both of them cannot meet the people's basic needs.
He added that the employees have not obtained their salaries for months, saying that it reflects the bankruptcy of Yemeni Central Bank.
He signaled that over three million employees have lost their jobs since the beginning of the current war, as most companies suspended their activities, while a large number of investors turned to leave the country.
He underlined that the war destroyed over 98 factories in different Yemeni provinces, adding that over $ 16 million left the country because of the war and other political crises that hit the country.
He added that Yemen's economy has been affected by the suspension of oil exports and the closure of large number of companies, stressing that the people pay the heavy price of this war.
