Egyptian actor Hassan Youssef urged members of the Arab producers union to make a film about Prophet Mohammed. “A movie about the prophet will get rid of the misconceptions about Prophet Mohammed,” he said. He said the film should be similarto the 1977 film The Message. “Audiences will begin to search for more information about Islam and Prophet Mohammed," he said. The actor was set to play Sheikh Ahmed Yassien the former leader of Hamas movement in a television drama but the project has been postponed. “It makes me very sad as I turned down other projects for this one,” he said. He said he would love to play president Morsi as it could a role filled with mystery and intrigue.
