Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe is very happy with her latest honour from the Egyptian school "Tiba". The institute recently granted her an award for "Best Arab Singer". Haifa told Arabstoday that she was happy to be honoured by Egypt, the country she loves the most with the best people. "Egypt supported me much and I wish it all the best forever," Haifa said. Lebanese singer added that she is to resume shooting for her first show on Saturday, "Mouled wa Sahbo Ghayeb". She stars alongside acclaimed Egyptian actress Fifi Abdo. The cast includes Ezzat Abu Ouf, Hassan al-Raddad, Ahmed Khalil, Said Tarabik, Hagag Abdel-Azim and the folk singer Samira. The series is written by Mustafa Muharram and directed by Shireen Adel. The Mouled is an Egyptian festival, with the show's title inspired by an Egyptian proverb which refers to the chaos of the event. Haifa's new album "Maliket Gamal el-Koon" (Miss Universe), produced by Rotana was rated fifth on the global iTunes rankings since its release, a first for an Arabic album.
