Arab Today, arab today Ahmed el-Sakka says retirement 'ridiculous' rumour

Cairo – Khaled Ali

Egyptian actor Ahmed el-Sakka described rumors about his TV drama retirement after the criticism directed at his series “Khotot  Hamra”  (red lines) which was displayed in Ramadan, as ridiculous. He pointed out that he did not have any criticism of his work. Sakka said in a special statement to Arabstoday: "All the rumors are not true as I am very happy with the reactions that I received for the series in general, which was able, thanks to God, to be the first drama series in all the polls that were carried out." He added sarcastically: "I wish I could get a remark or a criticism about the series, which did not happen, but it seems that someone is trying to disturb the success of the series by publishing such news but it was unsuccessful attempt.” “Khotot Harma” (Red Lines) features Ahmed el-Sakka, Yousra el-Lozi , Arwa Gouda, Ahmed Fahmy, and  Munther Raahna, written by Ahmed Abu Zeid and directed by Ahmed Shafiq.
