No cases of Ebola virus were recorded in the region of Tamanrasset or elsewhere over the national territory Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform, Abdelmalek Boudiaf, affirmed Monday in In-Guezzam Locality (Tamanrasset, 1970 km south of Algiers).
While accompanying the Premier Abdelmalek Sellal, on working and inspection visit to In-Guezzam, the minister told APS that "no cases of Ebola were recorded in this region or in others throughout the national territory, as reported by some national newspapers."
"The same system for the prevention against Ebola virus set up in the country’s northern country has been deployed in the South," Boudiaf added.
