The UAE embassy in Tokyo has participated in an Arab charity bazaar organised by Arab Ambassadors' Wives in Japan to support victims of the earthquake that hit the Asian country in March. Saeed Ali Al Nuwais, UAE Ambassador to Japan, and his spouse attended the charity bazaar, held under the auspices of Princess Takamado in the presence of the wife of Nato Kan, the Japanese Prime Minister, and wives of important figures in Japan. The bazaar included a pavilion of Etihad airways in addition to various Emirati products and crafts. The event, which was hosted by the Omani Embassy, included various Arab products, traditional fashion, jewellery, perfumes, food, sweets and Arab coffee, as well as Arabic calligraphy and an Arab tent for henna.
