His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has ordered the release of 32 prisoners of various nationalities who proved their eligibility for amnesty. The inmates who have proved their good conduct while serving terms will be eligible for this amnesty and will be released before the maturity of their terms from the Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department at Fujairah Police. Al Sharqi’s pardon is given on the occasion of the start of events marking the GCC Unified Inmates’ Week. The gesture reflects Ruler’s kindness and graciousness to bring happiness among the inmates families. DG Fujairah Police Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Ghanem Al Kaabi thanked the Ruler for his kind gesture, hoping the humanitarian initiative will motivate the released prisoners to be good citizens.
