Oman’s Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah on Saturday met with Ali Fahd al-Rashid, Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly and his accompanying delegation. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of promoting them in the different fields, with the two officials also exchanging views on the international and regional issues of common concern, official Omani news agency( ONA) reported. For his part, al-Rashid hailed Oman’s critical role in promoting regional understanding and stability, and praised the comprehensive renaissance in the Sultanate thanks to its enlightened leadership, according to ONA. Al-Rashed arrived Friday in Muscat on a three-day official visit accompanied by a number of parliamentarians.
