State Minister for Women's Affairs, Jean Ogassapian, said on Tuesday that "there is a draft for judicial appointments, but no consensus has been reached yet on this matter," stressing the necessity to approve these appointments, as soon as possible, so as to avoid vacuum."
Ogassapian, whose words came during an interview to the "Voice of Lebanon" Radio station, disclosed that "a cabinet session could be held this week, but after Speaker Berri decides on holding the legislative session."
Commenting on the tax law, he noted that "there is an official tendency to accelerate the issuance of the tax revenues," adding that the issue of double taxation was canceled despite the reference of economic bodies that such taxes affect institutions of all kinds
