Musanada Chairman receives UK Ambassador
Abu Dhabi - Arab Today

Ahmed Mohammed Shareef Al Khouri, Chairman of Abu Dhabi General Services Company, Musanada, received yesterday Philip Parham, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the UAE, and his accompanying delegation.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in several fields, supporting Musanada’s role in leading the infrastructure ambition of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and further strengthening mutual investments and available opportunities to expand UK investments in the UAE market.

During the meeting, which was held yesterday at Musanada’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi and was attended by Suwaidan Rashed Al Dhaheri, Musanada’s Acting CEO, Al Khouri reaffirmed that by enhancing its strategic partnership inside and outside the UAE, Musanada was keen on translating on the ground the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, aiming to provide sustainable infrastructure and leading and vital economic projects, as part of the efforts to achieve the future objectives of the Abu Dhabi Plan, serving the community and economy of the emirate in line with best international standards.

The meeting covered Musanada’s major projects across various sectors such as healthcare, education, housing, infrastructure, etc., and Musanada’s leading role in maintaining and improving the efficiency of assets by adopting highest international standards, and promoting the aesthetic and urban image of the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Currently, Musanada manages a portfolio of approximately 300 projects with a total value of AED81 billion, in addition to being responsible for facility management of more than 2,700 facilities across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Musanada’s Chairman highlighted the need to boost the company’s partnership with public and private sectors, as this represented the foundation for Musanada’s success in effectively and efficiently managing and delivering its projects, indicating that Musanada would spare no effort to continually develop its processes and procedures and achieve the main objectives aspired for the company.

Explaining Musanada’s process and procedures in place for approving companies, Al Khouri said that Musanada has more than 300 UK consulting companies registered with it. He called for more cooperation with UK companies and organisations, expanding the scope of partnership and cooperation with engineering professional firms engaged in building and construction as well as facility and asset management in the UK, particularly as Musanada is keen on building national capabilities across all relevant professional fields.
