President of the Republic, Field Marshal, Omar al-Bashir is to carry out an Arab tour during the coming period to mobilize Arab support for the Sudan Reconstruction and Development Conference .
This was announced by the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hamid Mumtaz who met the President of the Republic, Monday, in his office at the Republican Palace .
In a press statement, Mumtaz explained that he briefed Bashir on the arrangements for the withdrawal of the first part of the UNAMID from Darfur in accordance with the agreement signed with the United Nations, referring to the positive and successful visit by the President of the Republic to South and West Darfur states .
Mumtaz said he briefed Bashir on the results of Sudan's participation in the Arab Foreign Ministers' Conference, in addition to his recent visit to Korea .
