A son of Hosni Mubarak has demanded the former president be moved from a Cairo-area prison facility to a better hospital to save his life, authorities say. Gamal Mubarak claimed his father suffered an atrial flutter and rapid heartbeat at dawn Tuesday, security sources told Egyptian newspaper al-Masry al-Youm. The son demanded his father be taken from the hospital facilities at Tora Prison to a better-equipped hospital and to be seen by a neurologist from the International Medical Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The elder Mubarak, 84, was recently released from Maadi Hospital, where a senior forensic doctor reported that Mubarak's condition was stable and did not require surgery or a stay in intensive care. Based on that report, Mubarak was transferred to the hospital at Tora Prison.
