President Moncef Marzouki received here Tuesday morning Tunisia's Human Rights League President Abdessatar Ben Moussa.The latter said that the meeting had allowed to discuss the developments of human rights in Tunisia and means to preserve liberties and rights, to identify breaches and to put the country on the right track of democracy in order to establish a civilian state. He also added that he had reaffirmed to the President of the Republic the League commitment to provide all due support for the benefit of people's interest and in the service of democracy, freedom and dignity. ON the other hand, Mr. Moncef Marzouki met with Mrs. Sihem Ben Sedrine, Head of the Tunis Centre for Transitional Justice, who said she had discussed with the Head of State the issue of transitional justice which is under examination at the centre. She went on saying that the President had expressed "encouragement and support to this delicate work during the present stage." "We do not want to settle the score but we will endeavour to ask for explanations so as to lead afterwards to reconciliation and definitively close this case," she declared.
