The Assistant of President of the Republic, Engineer Ibrahim Mahmoud directed the General National Service Coordinative Organ to focus on illiteracy eradication project through its plans and programs as well as on economic projects that push production and productivity.
The Assistant of the President was briefed during his meeting the General Coordinator of the National Service Coordinative Organ, Dr Yasser Osman Suleiman in the Republican Palace, Wednesday, on performance and programs of the Organ for the year 2018.
The General Coordinator said in press statements that the Organ has eradicated illiteracy of 620 thousand illiterates in all states of Sudan in the year 2017 and it plans to get Sudan out of illiteracy by the year 2020.
He underscored the Organ readiness to contribute to economic and service development in the country a swell as to protect the country in collaboration with all regular forces.
