His Majesty King Abdullah II returned home late Tuesday after a visit to London during which he met with British Prime Minister, David Cameron and discussed with him the developments in the Middle East as well as bilateral cooperation. King Abdullah also delivered a lecture at the British Royal College of Defence Studies and held meetings with British Foreign Secretary William Hague, members of the British House of Commons' Foreign Affairs and Defense Committees as well as British academic and political figures. The King called for enhancing efforts to bring back momentum to the efforts of achieving peace and reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause as the core of conflict in the region. The King also stressed the importance of speeding up political and humanitarian efforts to solve the crisis in Syria.
