Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED) and the Mall at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi (WTCAD) have established a joint collaboration for hosting an Emirati Pop up Bazaar for UAE entrepreneurs, inviting the mall visitors to try new original products and gifts.
Supporting the emerging Emirati curated concepts, The Mall has signed an agreement with Khalifa Fund to occupy kiosks and give entrepreneurs the opportunity to sell their products to the visitors of The Mall, ranging from a variety of abayas, spices, gifts, candies, electronic games, herbal products, crafts and many more.
The pop up bazaar at The Mall at WTCAD is showcasing many local enterprises including: Al Zamen Al Jameel Gifts, Sugar Art, Besht Factory, Anigma Computers, Human Nature, Craft Cottage, Danat Food Industries, and Danat Abaya.
Yasser Al Marzouqi, General Manager of The World Trade Center Abu Dhabi commented: "It is an honour for us to contribute to supporting the development of small to medium-sized startups in the capital, by offering them a prime space at The Mall to showcase their products to our visitors. KFED also promotes for innovation and creativity among the young generation, and we by giving them the space, try to nurture their talents."
Ahmed Khalfan Al Romaithi, Senior Manager at Entrepreneurship Development Department at Khalifa Fund, said: The importance of participating in the Bazaar exhibition is a part of the Fund's initiative to help our funded projects by providing these businesses with pop up locations.
He pointed out that the exhibition is part of a series of exhibitions that the Fund intends to organize in cooperation with the World Trade Center and expressed deep thanks for the success of this Exhibition.
The Khalifa Fund pop up bazaar is located on the ground floor at The Mall at WTCAD.
