Information Ministry Undersecretary Abdulrahman Mohammed Bahar praised the pioneering role of Bahraini women mainly in the engineering and media field.
He lauded their success and achievements throughout a rich drive to boost the kingdom's comprehensive development under the reforms launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The undersecretary was speaking in a ceremony held by the Ministry to honour female employees in various departments as part of Bahrain's celebrations of Bahraini Women's Day.
He affirmed the ministry's keenness to support its female staff, in line with the directives of Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi and underlined continuous success of Bahraini women, commending their dedication in serving the nation and boosting its standing in regional and international gatherings.
He also praised the support given by the leadership to Bahraini women out of belief in their pivotal role and effective contributions in various fields.
The undersecretary honoured female employees working in the engineering field at the ministry and praised their efforts and contributions to serving the ministry and developing the media sector.
The honourees expressed thanks and appreciation to theundersecretary for the initiative to honour them, pledging to continue working diligently to serve the media sector in Bahrain.
