Geagea: To adopt ID cards during polls

Lebanese Forces leader, Samir Geagea, on Tuesday said that his party was ready to participate in the legislative elections at any moment decided by the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities.
In a statement, Geagea indicated that the objections voiced by his party to the tenders on biometric electoral cards inside the Cabinet came within the frame of the LF holding onto transparency, legal measures, and the institutional mechanisms during tenders.
He said that it would be better to adopt the ID cards during the upcoming polls, especially that the majority of people doubt the biometric cards would be finalized before May
