Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani praised Bahrain's legislative and executive measures to carry out recommendations of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI). This reflects the Kingdom's keenness and commitment to implementing BICI's report, Zayani told the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), praising the country's efforts aimed to address the situation and remedy any negative impact of last year's unfortunate incidents. He also praised the second report announced by Justice Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ali al-Khalifa regarding the implementation of BICI's recommendations. According to the GCC secretary general, the report included constructive measures taken by the Bahraini government to support and develop the judicial authority.
