A fire broke out in a shoe store in Hebron on Sunday, with fire fighters eventually controlling the blaze, an official said. "We ran to the location after receiving a call. We were able to control the fire, and people were also helping out, carrying the contents of the factory," Hebron firefighter director Amjad al-Ewewe told Ma'an. An estimated two million shekels ($500,000) worth of damage was caused by the fire, Director of the National Economy Ministry Maher al-Qaisi said. Over twenty sewing machines were destroyed in the blaze. Police have opened an investigation into the incident.
