Father tortures and kills girl, 8, in Dubai

The mystery behind the disappearance of an eight-year-old girl was uncovered by Dubai Police criminal investigation department. The child was tortured to death by her father who was joined by a woman whom he had an illegitimate relationship with, and the child was buried in an abandoned sandy location. Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai Police Chief, said that the child’s body has been moved to the police forensic department. He added that both the father and his alleged accomplice had been sent to Dubai’s General Prosecutor’s office that started its investigations immediately. He also said that the initial investigations indicated the father was allegedly intoxicated and on drugs. Lieutenant General Dahi pointed out that the mystery appeared to have been solved within 48 hours of receiving the disappearance report.
