Fatah Revolutionary Council (FRC) continued in Ramallah on Saturday the second of meetings to discuss internal Fatah issue as well as political topics.

The FRC opened its meetings on Friday during which President Mahmoud Abbas briefed the members on the latest political developments and efforts to defeat plots against the Palestinian cause.

FRC secretary general Majed Fityani told Voice of Palestine radio on Saturday that the Council is expected to issue its final statement at the conclusion of is meetings on Sunday night and the statement will touch on both the political matter and internal issues.

The meeting will also lay the paper work to present to the upcoming Palestine Liberation Organization’s (PLO) Central Council meeting planned to be held in Ramallah on October 28 and which is supposed to take decisions on the future of Palestine’s relations with the United States and with Israel.
