FAHR signs cooperation agreement with INDEX to organise conference
Dubai - Arab Today

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, FAHR, has announced the dates and the theme of the eighth FAHR International Conference to be held on the 10th and 11th of April, 2018 under the theme "Tomorrow’s HR Starts Today".

The conference is held annually in Dubai, with the participation of hundreds of HR specialists and stakeholders from around the globe. It is widely considered to be a premium HR platform to share best practices in the fields of developing human capital, to empower talents, and lead younger generations.

The announcement came in conjunction with the FAHR signing a cooperation agreement with INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions to organise the event.

Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al Awar, Director-General of FAHR, and Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Chairman of INDEX Holding represented the concerned parties.

Dr. Al Awar expressed his happiness about cooperating with INDEX to organise this event and he said, "The International Human Resources Conference is one of FAHR’s most vital and strategic projects, in which we aim to shed light on the global best practices and examine global challenges and hurdles faced by HR departments in both the government and private sectors, with the aim to reach and propose the best possible solutions".

He pointed out that the 8th edition of the International FAHR Conference will examine many important HR-related topics such as "leading change, most wanted human talent for the job market by 2020, smart HR systems, how to create a work environment that attracts qualified and talented persons, changes in HR practice, and future of HR in light of tremendous wave of online and smart transformations".

He praised INDEX saying that it is "one of the most prominent and prestigious national companies, specialized in the field of organizing local and international conferences and exhibitions". He said that "our partnership with INDEX will go a long way in ensuring the success of the next FAHR International Conference".

Dr. Al Madani said,"It is of our great pleasure today to be cooperating with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources to organise FAHR International Conference 2018 that is considered the Middle East’s largest government human resources event. There is no doubt that through such specialized conferences like this, the United Arab Emirates, and more specifically our beloved metropolitan city of Dubai, has aligned itself alongside global heavyweights in Europe, America, Australia and Asia."
