"El Fateh" frigate, submarine "42" arrive at Alexandria naval base

The French-made frigate "El Fateh" and German-made submarine Type 42, model 209 arrived Wednesday at Alexandria naval base, after the completion of procedures at Germany's Keil and France's Lorion ports.
El Fateh frigate took part in a joint exercise with the French Navy in the Atlantic ocean and performed its first task by shooting with live ammunition in the area of Alexandria naval base.
The frigate and submarine will participate in the "Zat al Sawari" naval exercise, coinciding with the celebration of the 44th anniversary of the October victory and the 50th anniversary of the Egyptian Navy.
