Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Hisham Kandil headed to Jordan on Thursday morning. During his one-day visit, Kandil is scheduled to meet with Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour to discuss ways of boosting cooperation between the two countries and a number of issues of common interest. On Wednesday, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Osama Kamal and Minister of Manpower and Emigration Khaled al-Azhari arrived in the Jordanian capital Amman, preparing for Dr. Kandil’s visit. The two ministers discussed with their Jordanian counterparts Nedhal al Qatamin and Alaa al Batayneh the Egyptian employment and gas file. This is the first visit by the Prime Minister of Egypt to Jordan since the January 25 revolution in 2011.
