An Egyptian man was injured when a car carrying two German tourists hit his car accident in Qurna, west of Luxor, on Wednesday. Director of Security in Luxor, Major General Ahmed Daif Saqr, received reports of a road accident at the Baarat Bridge in Qurna, west of the city, on Wednesday afternoon, when a truck and a car transporting a German man and his wife crashed. The incident resulted in the injury of the driver of the car, while the German citizen and his wife continued their journey in a different car. The injured driver was transferred to a nearby hospital. The news comes just one month after five German tourists were killed in a bus crash near the popular tourist resort, Hurghada, on Egypt’s Red Sea coastline last year.
