Egypt urged following up the implementation of the decisions of the Arab summits on combating terror and intensifying cooperation between the concerned institutions and bodies in the Arab states.
This came during the speech of Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali to the meeting of senior officials of the Arab ministries of social affairs, justice and youth on means to combat terror.
The ministry and the Arab League follow up the implementation of the decisions of the last Arab summit held in March in Amman, Wali said in a word read out by Adviser of Social Solidarity Minister Nevine el Kabbag.
Egypt was keen on holding several meetings with ambassadors of the Arab group in New York to implement the declaration of the Arab summit on facing terror, she said.
She said that the meeting provides the start to implement the decisions of the summit to eradicate terror.
Meanwhile, Arab League's Assistant Secretary General for Social Affairs Ambassador Badr el Din Alali asserted the importance of boosting the efforts exerted by the AL member states to put an end to terrorism.
Alali warned of the effects of terror on the Arab development, calling for promoting the role of youth and women in the developmental process.
He also asserted the importance of rallying efforts and coordinating all parties to combat terror.
Education, culture and managing religious speech are important factors for achieving our aim, he added.
