A delegation from Dubai Cares has visited the Emirati-Jordanian camp in Mrajeeb Al Fhood in Al Zarqa governorate, Jordan, managed by the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC.
The delegation, led by Tarik Al Qarq, Executive Director of Dubai Cares, was received by the Camp Director, Mubarak Al Khaili, his deputy and the members of the Emirati Rescue Team.
During the meeting, they presented the mission of the Emirati Rescue Team in the camp and the services provided by the ERC to the Syrian refugees as well as refugees in several other camps in Jordan.
They also discussed the means of co-operation between Dubai Cares and the Camp management to promote and develop services and fulfil the needs of the Syrian refugees residing in the camp. The head of the delegation praised the efforts of the ERC team in the camp to support the Syrians.
At the end of the visit, the camp director accompanied the delegation on a tour of the camp to introduce them to the residential and educational facilities, the library, the medical and health provisions, professional workshops, as well as entertainment and other amenities.
