Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Dubai Police and Public Security, has chaired a meeting of the Executive Team of the heads of National Agenda Indexes.
The meeting reflected the directives of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to accelerate the implementation of the National Agenda and intensify the efforts to fully achieve its goals by 2021.
The meeting took place in light of the directives of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh ط, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, to implement the government’s accelerators in all indexes of the Ministry of Interior’s departments, to guarantee efficient performance and promote the quality of life in the UAE community, as well as the systems of the Ministry of Interior’s strategic partners.
Lt. General Tamim said that achieving first position is the aim of the National Agenda, and that it is essential to harness all their capacities to achieve this national goal, to realise the national vision of becoming among the best countries in the world by 2021.
The meeting, which was attended by members of the executive teams of security accelerators from police leaders and officials in UAE’s security departments, discussed the main indexes that can lead to achieving the National Agenda’s goals on a national level, as well as their major challenges and suitable solutions.
He approved the initiatives presented by the heads of the Ministry of Interior’s indexes, according to the 'Fourth Generation of Government Excellence System' requirements.
Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Al Obaidly, Dubai Police Assistant Commander for Quality and Excellence, highlighted the general sense of safety and their most important challenges and potential solutions. He also stressed the importance of a unified media message from the Ministry of Interior to highlight its positive role.
Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, General Commander of Ajman Police, presented his response to the "National Emergence Cases" index, while Major General Eng. Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, Assistant Commander of Dubai Police for Operations Affairs, presented the "Deaths in Traffic Accidents per 100,000 Persons" index and the main challenges facing this index.
Brigadier Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, presented the "Dependence on Police Services" index and the main requirements of its targeted category, while Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director-General of the Federal Criminal Police in the Ministry of Interior, presented the "Crime Rate per 100,000 Persons" index and highlighted the main categories of crimes, and how to reduce them.
The meeting was also attended by Mariam Al Hammadi, Assistant Director-General for Government Excellence in the Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
