Cairo Governor Osama Kamal visited on Friday the Gezira Police Club that was torched by thousands of Ultras Ahlawy members who stormed the building after a court ruling on the February 2, 2012 Port Said stadium massacre. According to reports provided by the technical engineering committees, the fire did not affect the structure of the buildings, Kamal confirmed. The governor was received by director-general of the club, Colonel Walid el-Wakil, who asserted that a construction company has been assigned to repair the building after taking all investigative measures in the building by police.
