Bloc 609 housing project units' distribution begins

Following the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to distribute 4,800 housing units in various governorates, the Housing Ministry today started distributing the units of the Bloc 609 Housing Project in Sitra to beneficiaries.

The distribution of 4,800 units programme reflects His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s care and keenness on addressing the housing dossier through ensuring beneficiaries’ quick access to housing services, the Ministry said, noting that the constant directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the unwavering follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, have contributed to increasing housing gains in the kingdom through the acceleration of the implementation pace at housing projects or the speedy distribution of units to beneficiaries.

The project is among the main housing projects currently carried out within the 25,000-unit programme included in the Government Action Plan (GAP), and emanating from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives to build 40,000 units, the Housing Ministry said, noting that the distribution of the units of various projects proves that it is on the right track to honour its commitments in the GAP.

The Ministry asserted that the distribution process will continue for two weeks, affirming its keenness on harnessing all its potentials in order to implement HRH the Crown Prince’s order.
