President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, on Tuesday received further congratulatory cables on Lebanon's 74th Independence Day.


In this framework, President Aoun received a congratulatory cable from U.S. President Donald Trump, who greeted him upon the 74th Lebanon's Independence Day.


In his cable, President Trump said "the United States values the longstanding cultural, familial, political and economic relationship between our people and our countries."


"Lebanon has been a strong partner to the U.S. in the fight against terrorism and violent extremism," he added.


Trump also reiterated his country's continual support for Lebanon's stability, independence, and sovereignty.


On the other hand, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud also cabled President Aoun, wishing the Lebanese people further progress and prosperity.


Aoun also received a similar congratulatory cable from Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, in which he wished the Lebanese government and people further progress and prosperity.


Syrian President Bashar al-Assad also congratulated the President on Independence Day. In his cable, President Assad underlined keenness on bolstering brotherly ties between the two countries in the interests of both peoples and the supreme interests of the Arab nation.


Aoun received a congratulatory cable on Independence Day from Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan, in which he hoped that peace and stability would be bolstered in Lebanon under the wise leadership of Aoun. He also expressed his desire to increase cooperation between the two countries in all fields.


In his congratulatory cable, Tunisian President Béji Kayed Sibsi highlighted the longstanding brotherly ties and significant cooperation between the two countries, expressing wish to further bolster these relations in the various fields.


Aoun also received similar congratulatory cables bearing on well-wishes for the Lebanese people, notably from British Queen Elizabeth II, and Greek President
