Algeria decided to send “urgent” humanitarian aid, composed mainly of medicines and foodstuffs to Gaza inhabitants, who are victim of an Israeli aggression since Wednesday, Foreign Ministry said Tuesday. "Facing the Israeli aggression against the inhabitants of Gaza sorely affected by the repeated attacks if the Israeli Army, the Algerian government decides to send urgent humanitarian aid," FM said. This aid is made up of "40 tonnes of medicines, foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and surgery stuffs." The 14-tonne first batch is to be handed over today (Tuesday) to the Palestinian Red Crescent. "This spirit of solidarity of Algeria will continue in the coming days by sending other quantities of relief items and basic necessities to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people," the ministry said.
