The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting with a commercial delegation from the Philippines, led by Constancao del Vigno, the Philippines Ambassador to the UAE, at its headquarters today.
Abdullah Ghareer Al Qubaisi, Deputy Director-General of the Chamber, who chaired the meeting, said the visit would help companies, institutions, people in business and investors in Abu Dhabi get acquainted with the investment opportunities and incentives provided by the Philippines government to attract Emirati investments in their markets.
He highlighted that this visit reflected the friendly ties between the two countries, and showed their mutual keenness to develop these relations, as well as strengthen their economic and investment cooperation.
Al Qubaisi noted that Abu Dhabi was witnessing significant development within the framework of its economic plan and vision, as well as significant developments in all the economic and social areas due to the balanced economic development policy adopted by the Abu Dhabi government.
The meeting was attended by several presidents and directors of companies in both countries.
