The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi is hosting a new programme of cultural and traditional events at Al Ain's Qasr Al Muwaiji, the birthplace of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Starting from 18th October, and running until May 2018, the series of performing arts events, interactive workshops, excavation trips, and immersive experiences aim to preserve, promote and celebrate the Emirate’s rich culture and heritage as part of the annual programme of cultural and artistic activities held in Al Ain.
Weekly events at Qasr Al Muwaiji will include Al Ayyalah and Al Razfa performances, which are inscribed on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
