Three people including an 11-year-old boy from the same family were killed Sunday in a road accident in the Zahrani area, south Lebanon. Two women and the boy were killed instantly when their vehicle crashed into an electricity pole under a bridge leading to their home village of Ansar. Abdallah Assi, who was driving the car, was critically injured. The three fatalities were identified as Assi's wife, Fatima Musa Assi, his mother, Fatima Assi and his son, Ali. Abdallah Assi remains in critical condition in a Sidon hospital, while the bodies of the three others were transferred to the hospital morgues.
