Saqr Nasser Al Raisi, the UAE Ambassador to Italy, has underlined that the UAE's founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, had implanted the love for the sports of his forefathers among Emiratis, who pass them on from one generation to another.
He added that this legacy is being sustained by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Ambassador Al Raisi also thanked H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, for his support to the Fazza Shooting Championship in Italy. He added that the championship earned the UAE a number of gains, among others, promoting the country in terms of technical and organisational aspects.
Majid Al Bastaki, member of the organising committee and head of the media committee, said that the championship has also promoted Fazza Shooting, thanks to the Crown Prince of Dubai who chose Italy to host the championship.
