London - Arabstoday

Young midfielder believes the Frenchman would be a perfect replacement for Fabio Capello and says the Italian must take Wayne Rooney to Euro 2012 as he is Three Lions' best playerArsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed he would be ecstatic if club manager Arsene Wenger  wanted the England job.Fabio Capello is set to leave England when his contract expires after Euro 2012 and Wilshere has backed the Frenchman as an ideal replacement to take control of the Three Lions.“Arsene Wenger wouldn’t be a bad thing for England," he told TalkSport. "He proves it every year. He and Sir Alex Ferguson are the best managers in the league and, if the boss at Arsenal wanted the job with England, I’d be delighted with that.”Wilshere will be key for England at Euro 2012, though he has said that there is no better player for the national side than Wayne Rooney, who on Thursday saw a three-game ban for the competition reduced to two matches on appeal. “For me, there’s not another English player on his wavelength,” Wilshere told TalkSport. “His brain is miles ahead of most English players and he proves that every week. Most weeks he’s the best player on the pitch for Manchester United and now he’s started doing it again for England after a quiet period. We need him."
