The LOSC midfielder has hailed his Belgian team-mate as 'the best in the league' and assured that his side are focused on finishing in the Champions League places .Lille captain Rio Mavuba has lavished praise on Eden Hazard, but urged the rest of the team to lift their game and help the Belgian international as Les Dogues look to secure a place in next season's Champions League. The France international was speaking after his side's 2-1 win over fifth-place Toulouse on Sunday as he reiterated that the club's main objective is to return to Europe's premier club competition next term.“He [Hazard] makes a huge difference. He showed, simply, that he is the best player in the league," the 28-year-old told RMC Sport. "Now we need to get behind Eden as he cannot do everything alone.“We struggled a lot earlier on in the season trying to juggle the league and the Champions League. And then we lost Obraniak and Sow in the transfer window, but we're back on form now and our goal remains trying to make the Champions League.”Mavuba then briefly touched on the team's victory over Toulouse at the weekend, admitting that it wasn't easy overcoming their opponents.“Toulouse troubled us. They didn't have a lot of chances, but kept the ball well. We are still third though, and have put them [Toulouse] six points behind us, which is pleasing.Lille currently find themselves in third position, four points behind joint-leaders Paris Saint-Germain and Montpellier with just eight games remaining.
