Manchester - AFP

Roberto Mancini admitted Friday that unsettled striker Carlos Tevez could be forced to stay at Manchester City because "there isn't a team that wants to take him". Tevez is back training with City ahead of the new Premier League season after representing Argentina at Copa America. But the striker has made it clear he wants to leave and has been linked with a move away from the club. However, Mancini said on Friday that it appears more and more likely that Tevez could be forced to remain at City as there was no interest in the player. "I don't know if he will stay but it is difficult for him to leave," said the Italian at a press conference ahead of City's opening game of the season against Swansea on Monday. "Carlos is here and there isn't a team that wants to take him. I'm happy if he stays." Mancini has spent around £51 million (58 million euros) in the transfer market this summer for Argentina forward Sergio Aguero, full-back Gael Clichy from Arsenal and centre back Stefan Savic from Partizan Belgrade. But his hopes of securing Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri, a player Mancini has been chasing all summer, before the opening game are up in the air, much to the manager's frutration. Nasri, who is valued at around £22 million, has not been included in Arsenal's squad for Saturday's match against Newcastle. "I don't know the situation at the moment," added Mancini when asked about Nasri. "Monday is the start of the season for us and we have not completed our team. I hope we can do this very quickly because we need other players. I think the club is still working on this but it it is not easy. "It is important we can close our team very quickly in the next few days or next week." Meanwhile, Aguero is unlikely to start against Swansea as the £38 million signing from Atletico Madrid is still not considered fit enough to play 90 minutes. "Maybe he can play 40 minutes or 45 minutes," said Mancini. "The season is long and it's important for him to find his fitness."
