London - Arabstoday

The Chelsea midfielder believes the squad has the quality to cope regardless of who is appointed and has hailed the recent influx of young talent to the national team.Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is confident that the ongoing managerial saga surrounding the England national team will not affect their chances of success at Euro 2012.With the tournament in Poland and Ukraine set to kick-off in early June, the FA is still to appoint a full-time manager, with Stuart Pearce currently employed in a caretaker capacity. However, Lampard is confident the squad has the experience to cope, regardless of who is named as Fabio Capello's successor."It's something, as a player, you learn to cope with - managers leave at times you don't expect them to,” Lampard told reporters."Can it be a negative because we've lost a manager and we lose our way, or can it be positive because we galvanise ourselves, whoever comes into lead us galvanises the team and it goes very well?"We've seen that happen so many times. The important thing in this situation is that you've got the ability in the squad and in the players."And I believe in the squad we have that. So, for me, I don't think it makes much difference. It'll only be us who can dictate what difference it makes by playing well."England’s early departure from the 2012 World Cup in South Africa saw a host of young names brought into the squad the following year.Players such as Jack Wilshere, Phil Jones and Daniel Sturridge all impressed in the Three Lions shirt, and Lampard has hailed the influx of such exciting young talents."It's something we needed as a country," Lampard continued."We were all disappointed - the players that played in 2010, the nation expecting more out of the team - and quite rightly so."It needed these young boys to come through. They've shown great ability and great talent. This is something that the fans wanted to see."It brings a lot of youth and energy into the team and it was something that was certainly required for us as a group."Those players will be the present and the future of England now."
