Gary Cahill felt it was a point gained at Arsenal on Saturday afternoon, taking into account a tough run of fixtures that continues in Barcelona tomorrow evening. The defender turned in another assured display alongside John Terry to make it two clean sheets on the spin, but with Newcastle winning at the weekend it means we face a real fight to finish in the top four of the Barclays Premier League. 'A point is a good result any time you come here. You have to take the positives,' the 26-year-old said after the game. 'It was cagey, both defences were tight but there were one or two chances. The final ball lacked a bit today, but a point here is a great result. Three points would have been massive for us but we will keep going until the end of the season. 'It's well documented the games we have had, with an early kick-off on Saturday but we have rest before the Barcelona game now. 'We freshened the squad up and I think it worked well. We did okay and created some chances, but the final ball was missing once or twice. It was probably a fair result. All the players are in good form at the minute and it's important to use the squad. The players that came in did fantastically well.' Florent Malouda, however, felt a win would have been far more beneficial to us. 'I would say that it is two points dropped because we are fighting for a Champions League spot and we need points,' the Frenchman admitted, before discussing the importance of a good end to the season, starting with Tuesday's semi-final second leg in Spain. 'We've been working all season to be there, so right now it is the time to give everything to make sure we can go through, to qualify for the Champions League final,' he said. 'We have exciting games with the FA Cup final as well, and a very strong squad. Now is the moment for us to prove ourselves. We are happy to be there and want to win titles.'
